Reviews From ITA Students Who Now Experience TEFL in Hungary

I'd looked at a lot of different certification programs, and I was really impressed with ITA's alumni resources. I felt like they provided a lot more information and support than other places, especially when it came to looking for jobs afterward. In CETP there are both rural and urban placements. I was in a rural placement. Public transportation is well-connected and I was able to travel many places throughout the country. I think this allows you to get a different perspective than if you were in Budapest, because in Budapest there is a big expat culture.

I chose ITA because of all the support offered with enrollment in the course, specifically through the student affairs department and their job search guidance. After speaking with my ITA advisor, I knew that ITA was the right choice for me! Hungary is great! I love living here. There is so much to see not only in Budapest but also all around Hungary. Also, since Hungary is in such a centralized location, it is easy to travel all around Europe on the weekends!

Honestly, along with the great reviews that I saw about the course, my Admissions Advisor was the key person who encouraged me to become TEFL certified. He spent a lot of time talking with me, explaining the course to me, and just being a great support. Through CETP, I obtained all the legal documents/visa that I needed in order to stay and teach English in Hungary. I'd definitely recommend someone to come teach English in Hungary. It's a wonderful country full of history, good food, good people and amazing architecture!
